We are aware that many of you may be concerned about Coronavirus (COVID-19) and would like to reassure you that we are taking all necessary steps to ensure we keep people safe. The decisions we make and actions we take are based on current advice from the Northern Ireland Executive, Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Public Health Agencies in England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Your health and wellbeing is important to us.

As long as the advice from The NI Executive and public health agencies who advise organisations such as ours to continue run events, we will continue to do so where possible. However, as the situation changes, we may take the decision to postpone events until a later date. Please check the list below for changes to our calendar of events. If you are planning to attend an event or meeting organised by Social Enterprise NI, we ask that you follow the advice below in order to help reduce risk:

If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend events or meetings.

Wash your hands regularly with soap and water – including thumbs, backs of hands and under nails – for at least 20 seconds. Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available.

Catch all coughs and sneezes in a tissue – which you must dispose of in a bin. If you do not have a tissue to hand, it’s advisable to cough or sneeze into your elbow. Always wash your hands afterwards or use a hand sanitiser.

If you have visited a high-risk country or may have encountered the virus, please follow government advice, and self-isolate in the first instance or call NHS 111 for more information. Please avoid handshaking and do not touch your eyes, nose or mouth if your hands are not clean

Monitor advice and take preventative action provided by UK and the NHS. We understand that some of our Members and partners are taking broader actions to safeguard staff. Each organisation will have their own particular set of reasons for restricting access to their sites or asking colleagues to work from home.  We absolutely respect the decisions they are making.

We will keep you updated as the situation changes. Should you have any issues at all please contact or call (028) 9046 1810.
