Mainstay Committee Member
Main Committee
The Committee currently meets face to face at our central office in Downpatrick once per month, this is expected to change to bi-monthly in 2023/24. The Mainstay Committee is seeking up to four members with expertise in Governance, Human Resources, Business Development, Legal and/or Financial, Marketing and Communications.

Governance and Audit
The Governance and Audit committee is seeking members with expertise in professions aligned to compliance such as Law, Accountancy, Health and Safety or similar. They will meet face to face at our central office in Downpatrick or online once per month, this is expected to change to bi-monthly in 2023/24.

Colin Glen - Trustee
Candidates with a track record operating effectively at the senior management level for a major company, public body, charity, third sector organisation or at director/partner level in a professional services firm. Through your career to date, you will have developed a strong appreciation of the general workings and purpose of a Board and/or Committee in shaping strategy and overseeing performance. Your commercial acumen and understanding of risk management will allow you to ensure the sustainable success of the business while adhering to good governance principles.
You must have an appreciation of how cost-effective customer services is delivered. While this role does not require specific experience in hospitality, tourism, leisure & recreation or environmental services, a background in these areas may be helpful. The role is non-remunerated and board meetings are currently held bi-monthly via MS Teams.
