Volunteer Now are delighted to deliver an interesting series of webinars to kickstart 2023! With thanks to the Halifax Foundation for Northern Ireland, these webinars will encourage the Voluntary Sector to consider new approaches, ideas and allow networking and shared learning.
They kick off the series on 24 January 2023 with ‘Volunteering 2023’ with guest speaker Rob Jackson. A new year means new challenges and opportunities for volunteer professionals. Rob will share his thoughts on what 2023 may hold for volunteering and discuss what you may need to do to survive and thrive in 2023.
The next FREE session in the series is ‘Digitally Aware, Wise & Resilient’ on 8 February 2023 with Dr Deborah Webster. This session will discuss the risks of the online space for children and young people, the impact that social media can have on their wellbeing and mental health and how we can support them to become more digitally aware, wise and resilient.

Volunteer Now are also delivering a new range of FREE Capacity Building training courses online, for groups based in the Belfast City Council area. These sessions will be running through January to March 2023.
