Social Enterprise NI strengthens its staff team by announcing a new Head of Marketing

Social Enterprise NI is delighted to announce the appointment of a new member of staff following a rapid period of growth for the organisation. Michelle Cassidy joins the team in a newly created role and will be responsible for all aspects of the organisations Marketing and Communications and will build on the progress to date of Social Enterprise NI in raising the awareness and capability of the social enterprise sector in Northern Ireland.


Chief Executive Colin Jess said: “We are delighted that Michelle has joined us at Social Enterprise NI. Michelle previously held marketing roles at Q Radio and more recently at Lisburn and Castlereagh City Council. She brings a vast amount of experience in Digital Marketing, PR, Events and communications, which will not only hugely benefit ourselves but our members and also the wider social enterprise sector.

It is a very exciting time at Social Enterprise NI and we have lots of strategic plans in the pipeline for 2023 and look forward to sharing more details on this very soon.”


The appointment reflects the aspirations of Social Enterprise NI in growing and developing the sector and the commitment of the Social Enterprise NI Board in this regard.


Head of Business Development, Amanda Johnston added: “With now having an experienced and skilled marketer on our team, we will be able to elevate and strengthen our membership offering and services.”
