The voice for Social Enterprises & Social Entrepreneurs in Northern Ireland. Connecting, supporting, developing and sustaining vibrant businesses to create social change.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic this years Social Enterprise World Forum (SEWF) which was due to be held in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada has been postponed from September until June 2021.  Nonetheless, the organisers were keen to host an event digitally. The week-long programme of online events and activities commencing 21st September through until 25th September will feature keynotes and plenaries from three different world zones with live Q&A, online networking, and partner-organised fringe events.  Speakers will include leading social entrepreneurs and change makers from across the world with over 3,000 participants from over 50 countries. A week after launch, over 2,000 tickets have already been allocated.

Social Enterprise NI (SENI) are delighted to say that we are listed as a Silver Partner for the event and as such have a number of bursaries which are being  made available to members of SENI, forming part of the membership benefits package.  If you are a social enterprise based in NI and have not yet attended an SEWF event, this is a great opportunity to get involved and hear of the work of the sector across the globe. The session will be split into 3 time zones and you can log in and out to sessions to suit your timetable.

We have set up an Eventbrite link for members to register their interest for one of the bursaries. (It should be noted that registering does not confirm your place however SENI will seek to ensure as many as possible who register are catered for).
