Larne Community Wealth Building Partnership (LCWBP) hereby invites Proposals from suitably qualified Consultants / Organisations to:

Create a Strategic Case and Development Plan for the Regeneration of the Port Town of Larne

Background

Larne is a strategically important port town providing vital connectivity between NI, Ireland, and Great Britain. It is seeking to sustainably recover from a legacy of under-investment and decline linked to the aftermath of the NI Troubles.

The Larne Community Wealth Building Partnership (LCWBP) comprises a combination of private limited companies, social enterprises and sporting organisations including:

·       Access Employment Ltd

·       Port of Larne

·       Local Economic Development Company (LEDCOM) Ltd

·       Larne Football Club

·       Larne Business Forum

The mission of the partnership is to win capital investment to enable the partners to;

 “build a strong, inclusive, and welcoming community where people want to live, work and play’.

Each of the complementary organisations, is already proven successful in Social and Economic Impact to the limit of its available capital and now wishes to work together in partnership to create a better future for the town and its citizens.

Working in collaboration with Mid & East Antrim Borough Council (MEABC) and other key stakeholders, the LCWBP wishes to deliver several social, economic and environmental projects which will act as a catalyst for long term measurable and scalable growth and development. Effective, efficient collaboration is the key!

Closing date for Fee Proposals will be 5pm Monday 19th February 2024.
