Safe Place

What is Safe Place ?
Safe Place is a simple but very effective initiative that allows any business, organisation, church, school or community group to provide a ‘Safe Place’ where anyone affected by domestic abuse can confidentially access information on the range of support services available to them. The Safe Place training is CPD certified.
What does a Safe Place do?
To become a Safe Place, organisations must attend a Safe Place Webinar and display Safe Place resources on their premises or their online platform. As a Safe Place you will display the Safe Place logo. This indicates that information on services for anyone affected by domestic violence and abuse is available on the premises. Organisations will not have to do anything beyond signposting people to the appropriate services. All resources will be provided by Onus.
